コメント力が円滑なコミュニケーションをする上で重要な位置を占めることを感じつつも、具体的にどうすればコメント力がアップするのかと思いこの本を手に取りました。

本の中ではコメント力をあげる具体的な方法が述べられており、随所に参考になる部分があります。例えば「たくさんに知識の中からこれはあれに似ていると指摘するのは、コメントのひとつの方法である。」「スタンスが違うとコメントは変わってくる。自分はどの立場で言っているのか、誰に対して言っているのか、その立場性を頭に入れながらコメントすることが重要である」。など。

しかし、この書物の大部分を占める漫画や映画からの引用のうち、一体どれだけが日常の「コメント」の参考になるのだろうか疑問に残りました。このあまりに多すぎる引用のせいで本当に伝えたいことが拡散してぼやけてしまっている点が残念な気がしました。

わたしが考えさせられたのは、次の二つでした。

「コメント」を意識し、自分なりの切り口で世の中を見、
自分なら〜と考える習慣をもつことが大切だということ。

人の話を聞いたら、よりよい人間関係のために、
何かいい質問をしたり、コメントをする義務があるということ。

先に悪い点を言ってしまえば、これを読んだからといってコメントが上手くなるわけではないと思います。著名人（スラムダンクの著者、将棋の羽生さんなど）や大統領などの､優れたコメントがいくつも掲載され､解説されているものの、「うまいこというな~」とは思えど､素晴らしいコメントの思いつき方が書いてあるワケでもないです。
　しかし、日本人はコメントが下手。コメントする機会が少ない。ということに、実感として気付かされます。
　なにかしてもらって「ありがとう」ではなく、「~してくれてありがとう。~いう時に役に立ったよ。」や、工夫して作ってくれた料理に対して「おいしい」で済ますのではなく、「~な焼加減や~な味付けがおいしかったよ。」など、コメントは会話の潤滑油であり、相手の思いへの気付きにつながると気付かされました。
さらに、「コメントをしよう」と意識して読書や映画を見ると、とても集中して脳が鍛えられるそうです。一人暮らしの方はTV相手にツッコミながらトレーニングしてみてはいかがでしょうか？
