ジャンル分けしづらく、派手な宣伝文句が当てはまるわけでなく、たぶん出版社にとっては売りにくい作品でしょう。
ただ一点、『クラフトエヴィング商会』物というのが足がかりで、固定ファンにはうれしい作品でした。

大人と子供の間の少女や少年の日々をふと思い出す。それがたとえ自分の経験とかけ離れていても、そう、そんな気分は確かにかつて心のどこかに抱いていたことが浮かび上がってきます。
大きなイベントは無く、小さな事象が少しずつ絡まったりすれ違ったりして、まさに「紡がれた物語」と言った趣の作品です。

作者は一応｢クラフトエヴィング商会」を主催する吉田夫妻の娘さんと言うことですが、ホントかどうかはそれもお楽しみの内、というところでしょうか。

イベントのコットン・キャンディー、物産展の金平糖、ウインドーショッピング中のクレープ、のような小説でした。

吉田音<おん>を主人公とした探偵譚。
クラフト・エヴィング商會の他の本にも出てくる探偵、
「円田さん」も登場。

登場人物が日本人ながら、相変わらず
ヨーロッパテイストの世界観が淡々と流れている。
