5.0 out of 5 stars 「働く」ことと「生きる」ことに橋を架けてくれる本です, 2009/3/1
　本書は、「働き方研究家」の著者が、「いい仕事」はどこから生まれるのかをテーマに「いい仕事」の現場を訪ねた記録です。単行本で数回読み、今回文庫本になって読み直してびっくりしました。
　単行本から文庫本になるときには、時代と合わなくなった表現を修正したりその後の経過を若干加筆するなどを行うことは、よくあることだと思います。でも、この文庫本版には、単行本版の読者からの本書の根本に関わると私には思われる批判的な感想メールを載せ、それに対して極めて誠実に応えてくれています。この加筆箇所だけでも、一読の価値有り、と感じました。
　著者の誠実な人柄が伝わります。「いい仕事」とはこのようなこと、と教えていただいた気分です。感謝です。

様々なクリエーター(創る人)達の生きざま、働き方、仕事へのスタンスのインタビューを中心に構成されている。その道のプロであり、それなりの成功者達であるから、そんなの理想主義的な仕事観だよ、と冷めた読み方も出来るけれども、そんじゃあ、まるで勿体無い。
自分を大事にすること、自分らしさを模索しつづけること、「やめずにつづけていれば、その時にはまだわからなくても、五年とか10年とか経った時に形になるのです」
どうか、仕事に行き詰まっている時に、迷路に迷い込んだ時にこそ、お勧めの一冊です。

僕たちは仕事をしないと食べてゆけない。そして仕事を通して自己を確立してゆく。生きる場所を見つける。
だから仕事をするということは、生きることそのものだ。

この本は、それを理解して実践する人たちの姿に学びながら、
自分の現在（いま）を省みる絶好の機会を与えてくれる。
会社勤めの人にも、自営の人にも、そして経営者にもぜひ薦めたい一冊だ。

星を四つにしたのは、あとのひとつは読み手に委ねたいから。
この本がきっかけとなり何か行動を起こせたなら、
星は五つになるでしょう。
