学生の時にこの本を読んでいて、担当教授に「お前なあ、そういうのは一生かけて読むもんや。神棚に飾っておいて、時々取り出しては『あ~、ありがたいなあ~』ってな。今読んでもわからんわ」と励まし（侮辱？）された思い出が懐かしいです。
今にして思えば先生の言っていた事もまるまるおふざけではないかな、と。いやあ、だって最近になってやっとなぜ君主が殉教者であり、道化が悪魔なのかがわかった気がしますから。
