1956年東京神田に生まれる。82年、東京医科歯科大学医学部卒業後、関東逓信病院、国立精神・神経センター神経研究所、旭中央病院を経て、90~92年、英国グラスゴー大学ウェルカム研究所主任研究員。現在、新潟県にある国立犀潟病院にて、痴呆症、重度心身障害、神経疾患の診療に従事。認定内科専門医、米国内科学会会員、神経内科専門医、医学博士。Lancet,BMJ,Brain Research等に論文を発表(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)
