カントの哲学について、個別の詳細な議論はあまりせず、全体を通した基本的なものの見方という観点から概説しており、大変わかり易い入門書になっています。この本を読んだ後、別の入門書を読んでみたけど、全体の構成・バランスなど、こちらの方が圧倒的に優れていました。

のっけから、人間理性の限界、理性は無限を把握できないという議論から始まり、宇宙には量がないという結論にあっという間に至ったとき、初めてカント（の入門書）に触れた私は、まさに驚天動地。宇宙は量の概念で図れない。だから、時間や空間は人間の主観的な認識の形式でしかない。そこからカントの哲学が整理されていきます。

難解とされるカント哲学の解説ですが、用語も丁寧に解説してあり、混乱することもありません。何よりも、基本コンセプトの把握に徹しているところが、私のような素人にはお勧めです。また私は、一貫して展開していく論理に引き釣りこまれて、どんどん読み進めることができました。

でも色々な命題に関する証明は、本の性格上最小限に留められています。それゆえ必ずしも全てが腑に落ちるものでもありません。ですので、カントの哲学について自分なりに評価していくためには、さらに読書を進めていく必要があるだろうと考えました。

　著者の石川文康さんは、カントの「批判哲学」のキーワード（悟性、理性、判断力など）をわかりやすい言葉に置き返して、説明してくれています。語源から説明してくれているので、理解しやすいです！
　でも、カントをまったく知らない人は、中島義道さんの『カントの人間学』（講談社新書）をまずは読んでみるのがオススメです。なぜかというと、石川さんの本では、カントの自伝的な要素について書かれていないからです。
　さらに言えば、カントの『純粋理性批判』（岩波文庫）を買って読んでみて、「こりゃ~、一人じゃ読めないよ」と思ってから、この『カント入門』を読むと、「オゥーわかりやすい」ってより感じることができると思います！！

カントの入門書はカント自身による『プロレゴメナ』をはじめかなり読んだが、本書が一番いいと思う。さすが専門の学者の手によるものだけあって記述も正確で、変な自意識がない。カテゴリー表とアンチノミーの関係等基本的なことがわかりやすく書かれている。多少記述が論理学寄りではあるが、晩年の問題意識もフォローしているので問題はない。構成的理念と統制的（本書は「統整的」とは書かない）理念の解釈、物自体の解釈や視差の問題等は柄谷行人を知る人間にはものたりないが、カント問題意識を現代に蘇らすという点において本書のようなコンパクトな入門書の存在は大きい。
（ただし同著者による他の著書は二番煎じなので、次のステップに行きたい人にはカント自身のテキストを薦める。）
