なぎら健壱による居酒屋エッセイ。言ってしまえばそれだけだし、既になくなっている店も載っていたりするのですが、たまに繰り返し読みたくなります。それは文章のテンポがよくて、程よく「酔って」いるから。（決して自分にではなく！）。ああ飲みたくなってきた！

なぎらさんが生活していた東京東側の下町界隈でいきつけた
なじみの飲み屋を紹介している本です。

私自身、下町も飲み屋も大好きで、この本を読むとやはり
一杯やりたくなってしまいます。
呑んでいる店の雰囲気が良く伝わってくるので、
同じ酒を何度呑もうが、同じ店に何度行ってもいいように、
本書も何度読んでも楽しめます。

紹介されている店はいわゆる居酒屋だけではなく、
なぎらさんの好きな店、という感じですが、お酒が好きな
方なので大半は飲み屋です。

大阪に比べて東京は高い店が多い気がしますが、
こういう良い店もあるんですね。
惜しむらくはそういう店は後継者が居なくて、なくなるのが
多いことです。

そして酒が呑みたくなる。気取った料亭や割烹ではなく、勿論スナックなんかではなく単なる居酒屋。でもこれがいいんだなあ~。あの人柄がそうさせるんだろうけどとにかく読みながら呑みたくなるし、呑みながら読みたくなる。一人で居酒屋に入る時には持っていきましょう。でもその店の親父と会話して読めなくなっちゃうかも・・・でもそれが一番（笑）
