キッチン、インテリア、お金など８章に分けられた中に、数行から３０行ほどの文章が並ぶ。エッセイのような文や、ちょっとしたコツが綴られた文、どれもがシンプルで読みやすい。内容も、実践しやすそうで読み終わった後、思わず洗面所とキッチンのシンクを掃除してしまった。星４つにしたのは、難点をあげればすぐ読めてしまうこと。マニュアル本のようにあれこれ載っていないのだが、かえって実践するには、このようなシンプルな本が良いのかもしれない。

沖さんの本は何冊か持ってますが、
どれも内容が似たりよったりで、
かなりダブリます。
でも、でも私は個人的にこの方の本は好き。
何と言うか、読んでて疲れない。
さらっと読めるんですね〜
軽〜い感じが好きです。

１０ページにも及ぶ目次は、そのまま標語になっている。
例えば、「5 掃除はいつも、「塵のうち」に」、
「95 ホテルのような生活を心がける」などなど。
目次をみて興味が沸いた文言が見つかったら、
迷わずそのページを開きましょう。
この本は、最初から順を追って読まなくても大丈夫です。
そのように作られてます。
そして、この多くの項目から、
必ずや実践したくなるものがひとつやふたつ見つかる筈。
ただ、表題の「ドイツ流」という言葉は大げさではなかろうか？
どうせっだったら「沖流」と言ってくれればいいのに、
と思ってしまうのは、私だけだろうか？
