あなたが雑貨好きで、元オリーブ少女だったりしたら、絶対買いの本。
副題に「したかったのは少しの生活」とあるように、
台所、お料理関係の話しだけではなく、シンプルライフにもつながる本。
でありながらも、釜飯の「釜」でグラタン作ってみたくて
子どもと中央線に乗って（著者は武蔵野市民）大月まで
釜飯の「釜」買いに行っちゃうかわいらしさ。

シンプルライフなんかを説いている本て
ややもすると読んでいてこちらの余裕まで
削がれてしまうような本が多いですが、
これは目から鱗の部分もありながら、
しかも、ホッコリできる。
一挙両得とはこのことです。
