韓国人男性と結婚した著者たがみさんが、近くて遠い、似ているようで全然違うおとなり韓国での生活を、ユーモアたっぷりの四コマ漫画と文章で綴ってくれます。ちょっとでも韓国人と交流を持ったことのある人なら、読みながら思わず「ぐふふ・・・」とにやつくことうけあい！
何よりこの本が楽しいのは、著者たがみさんが韓日両国をとても愛していて、偏りのない視点で日々の出来事を観察していることが読者にも伝わるからです。韓国人の友人によれば、韓国でも非常に評判が良かったとのこと。そして、四コマ漫画に付いている韓国語訳もとても自然だそうです。韓国語を勉強している人にもオススメの本だと思います。

実は私、韓国人の友人が「この本は面白い」と薦めてくれて
先に韓国の書店でこの本の韓国語版を買って読んでいました。
あちらではベストセラーになっていて、知らない人はいないくらい
有名な本です。
ハングルの勉強を始めたばかりの私にも、4コマ漫画の中に
ハングルと日本語訳が両方載っていて十分楽しめました。
横のハングルで書かれたエッセイがまったく読めず、気になっていた
ところにちょうど日本語版が！これは買うしかないでしょう！！
「そうそう！そうなの！」って言いたくなるエピソード満載。
私のような韓国プチフリークにも、初心者にも十分楽しめる内容です。
韓国好きな人なら、まず買って損は無いでしょう。

現在、韓国でベストセラーとなっていて、日本に興味のある韓国人ならたいてい知っている漫画＋エッセイの逆輸入版です。

韓国留学＋国際結婚という自身の体験をもとに、マンガと文章で軽やかにつづられています。

「韓国人がみんなこんなじゃないのに…」という意見も、韓国語版を読んだ韓国の友人からは聞かれましたが、下手な一般化はきちんと避けられているので、「そういう人もいるんだ」という感じで読めばいいかと思います。

実際、私もいまだに韓国のミニトマトとポンテギには慣れることができません…バスも苦手（笑）。
