寝る前に１話ずつ読みすすめていくのが楽しかったです

表題の「長靴をはいた猫」以外にも
・赤頭巾ちゃん
・仙女たち
・サンドリヨンあるいは小さなガラスの上靴
・捲き毛のリケ
・眠れる森の美女
・青髯
・親指太郎
・驢馬の皮
が収録されています
また、話の終わりには、教訓のようなものもあり
はっとさせられました

使用されている挿絵は片山健氏がかかれており
遠い昔にもこれを見たことがあるやうな、というなつかしい感じもしました
こういう絵本はなかなか見ないですね
