角川 いつか
東京都に生まれる。高校在学中に原宿でスカウトされ、雑誌の読者モデルに。以来、十代からメディア界、政財界を中心に数多くの人脈を持つようになる。高校卒業後、宣伝会議養成講座、広告学校を経てコピーライターとなり、渡米。帰国後、広告・雑誌などマスコミ界で活動を開始する。2001年、二十歳以上年の離れた出版社社長と結婚するが、その後、離婚。2003年から執筆・講演活動に入る。取材で訪れた国は四十ヵ国以上に及び、大物のインタビューを数多く経験し、その人脈は世界に広がっている(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

成功者を間近で見て来た著者による友達自慢、あるいは自己愛の発露。
事象からあっという間に導く結論は歯切れがいいと言うべきかあるいは安直なだけなのか。

ここで語られているのは成功の哲学ではなく、せいぜいが成功者の癖としかいいようのないものである。

また頻出する著者の自分好きが伺い知れる記述に辟易する男性は多いのではなかろうか。

例えれば、有名野球監督の夫人が書いた野球論。

成功者は、とにかく《本音》を語らない。やはり、本音を語ると、いろいろ差し障りがあるのだろう。でも、読者として一番知りたいのは、成功者の《本音》だったりする。と言う訳で、本書は素晴らしい《裏》成功哲学書である。女性記者の観点から語られた成功者の《本音》は、大変興味深いし、実用的にも使える部分が多い。特に、この本に込められた、著者からの《不器用な男達への、心優しきメッセージ》には、心が暖まる思いがしました。いろんな意味で実用的な、素晴らしい名著だと思います。

本屋に積み上げられていて、いやでも目についてしまいました。この、刺激的なタイトル。
本代はケチるな、と決めているので、この作家のほかの作品は読んだことあるけど、これはどうかな？と思いつつ買ってみたら、印象をはるかに超えて素晴らしくいい！
フィクション？　ノンフィクション？
ノンフィクションなんでしょうけど、どこかフィクションのような、なにか夢のような世界です。
夢といっても、悪夢のようなものもあるけれど、いい意味でも悪い意味でも「男」という感じがするんですね、
ここに出てくる男性群像は。
だから、女性の私からすると、とても興味深く引き込まれるんです。
この本は男性向けなんでしょうが、女性にもお勧めです。
男性なら、夢を味わうと同時に、夢を持てるでしょう。
俺も非情になろうか、なんて思うかも。
そんな、引きつける力が強い「作品」です。
