幸せに生きるためには自分自身をどういう方向に成長させていけばよいのか、
自分自身がどういう風に変わっていけばよいのかについてやさしく指南してあります。
これまでの鈴木秀子先生の集大成のような一冊です。
飯田史彦先生（福島大学教授）とも相通ずるものがあります。
自分を見つめ直したい人や、悩める人におすすめの本です。

1.0 out of 5 stars 全てこれまでの著書の内容の寄せ集めで、ガッカリ, 2006/7/30
鈴木秀子さんの本はとても好きなので、何冊も持っている。
このたび新刊が出たので、ネットで購入して読んでみたら、「これは詐欺か？」というほど、今までの著書の内容の寄せ集めであった。
これでもか、これでもかというくらい、どのエピソードも、他の著書で読んだものばかり。
鈴木さんの本を初めて読むんだったら、この本で充分だと思うし、逆にこの本から始めて他の本を読んでいくのもよいかもしれない。
しかし、他の著書を熟読している者からすれば、「これでは新刊の意味がない」と腹が立ちさえする。
（今までの本になかった内容と言えば、近年のスマトラ沖地震のときのエピソードが、終わりのほうにごくごくわずかに記されているだけである。）
店頭で実物を見て、内容を少し確認すれば、こんな思いもせずに済んだのであるが、内容を知らずに、鈴木秀子さんの新刊ということで期待し、ネットで購入した為にこんなことになってしまった。
余計な本を買ってしまって全くの無駄づかいだった、という思いである。
鈴木さんの本を読んだことのない方がいれば、どなたかに差し上げようかと思っている。

くり返すが、私は鈴木秀子さんはとても尊敬しているし好きな著者なので、鈴木さんをけなしているわけではない。
この本の内容そのものは、鈴木さんの体験や価値観が凝縮されており、濃いと思う。
ただ、「新刊」として、非常にガッカリさせられた、ということと、これまでの本の寄せ集めなら、本の帯にでもそのように書くべきだ（帯にも全くそういうそぶりは書かれていない）と思うので、星は一つにさせていただいた。

　精神世界のリーダーの一人である鈴木秀子さんの自らの臨死体験それを通じて得た力とその後の死に行く人々との
触れ合いから学んだ幸福のあり方。
　読んでみて、「著者の原点がここにあるのでは・・・、」と感じました。　著者自身が後書きで、以前に書いた著書
と同じような内容になったと書かれていることから著者自身が著作活動を通じて自身の生き方の再確認があったことが
伺えます。
　その意味では、「鈴木秀子さん入門としては良い本では、」と思います。
