5.0 out of 5 stars 「リーダーシップとは何か？」を突き詰めたい方に、好著, 2006/4/18

「リーダーシップとは一体、何か？」、
「リーダーシップには、どんなタイプがあるか？」、
「何をすればリーダーシップを発揮したと言えるか？」、
･･･など、そもそもの話しに立ち返ると、分かっているようで意外とそうではない。つまり、「リーダーシップ」という言葉が余りに平易に使われている印象をお持ちの方は多いと思う。

また、経営職や中間管理職に限らず、リーダーシップを期待されているが、どうしたものか、と思案している方も多いのではないか。

本書は、そんな方々を「すっきり」させる好著。よくある著名人の武勇伝に惑わされるよりも（どうせ真似が出来るわけではない）、はるかに読みごたえがある。

学問的な体系が語られているところは、少し小難しいと感じる部分もあるが、それだけ奥深い分野であるから。興味のある部分だけ飛ばし読みで十分。さすがにグロービスの本なので、ざっと興味のある部分を拾うだけでも、内容は粗々理解出来る。

読後感として、きっと、自分の中に眠る熱いものに気付くんだろうと思う。お奨め。

4.0 out of 5 stars 「リーダーシップとは何か」について体系立てて説明されている, 2007/3/20
★3.5個。

ヒトに関するものだけに他のMBA科目のように決め手となるフレームワークがないことが、学問としてのリーダーシップの難しいところ。

この本の良い所は、リーダーシップに関する研究の系譜をまとめた上で、現在の経営に適した理論をいくつか選び出してそれらを体系的に結びつけている点。

リーダーシップについて、根本的に一つのモデルを振り回すだけの本はたくさんあるが、実際に使おうとしたときに現実性に欠けているものも多い。

その点、この本はケーススタディーとフレームワークを効果的に活用して、理論と実践をうまく結び付けようとしている点に好感が持てる。

非常にグロービスらしい本だと思うので、他のグロービスシリーズが気に入っている人にはおすすめ。

予備知識がなくても問題はありません。

リーダーシップ論の研究を一冊にまとめたものなので、とにかく手っ取り早くリーダーシップ論を学びたいという方にオススメ。

フレームワークとケーススタディのバランスが秀逸です。
