「なんとなく聞いた事のある」事例が豊富なため、抵抗無く、楽しんで読めます。

また、様々な要素がまんべんなく書かれているため、基本的な知識の習得はもちろんだが、何かに行き詰ったときや原点に立ち返りたいときにも役に立ちます。

この本を読んで「ここをもっと読みたい、知りたい」と感じる箇所を見つけることが出来れば、次のステップに進めるであろう。
まずはこの本を読むことで、次に何を学ぶべきかを知ることが出来ます。

基礎となり、土台となる一冊です。

　何度も「なるほど」と思いながら、一気に読了した。頭の中が整理された感じだ。「マーケティングが、ビジネスマンの必修科目」というコピーは、まさにその通りだと思う。
　営業マンは当然だが、商品開発や研究開発部門の人が本書を読めば、従来とは違った仕事ができるようになるのではないかと思う。サントリーの飲料事業や花王の流通政策の事例などケースは身近なものが多く、おもしろく読むことができる。
　この種のやさしいマーケティング本は、新入社員や就職活動を控えた大学生は、是非読むべきだと思う。就職観が広がるはずだ。
　中堅ビジネスマンにはやや物足りないかもしれないが、経験の中で得た知識を整理したり体系化したりする意味では一読の価値があるだろう。

マーケティングに関する知識が体系的にまとめられた書籍。
入門書として読んでもいいし、事業計画書や提案書作成時に辞書的に利用してもいいと思う。

インプットを目的として読む場合は、自分が経営者になったつもりで、自社の製品（サービス）について、各種戦略を考えることは必須。
サラっと読んでしまうとあたりまえのことばかりで何も残らないので、噛み砕いて自社の事例に照らし合わせて精読することをオススメする。

入門者の方は、まずは用語を理解し、全体像を把握することから始めるといいかもしれない。
そうすれば理解しやすく、マーケティングの考え方が身につくだろう。

個人的には大きな流れがわかり、いままでぼんやりしていた「概念」が明確になったのでよかった。
