本書の執筆が開始されたのはいつぐらいからだろうか？
というのも随所に挿絵されている業務プロセス画面例やその中で謳われている内容が、
2003年に開催された日経デジタルエンジニアリングにおいて、富士通自らが発表した内容と全く同じなのである。
2003年時点での発表であるから、そもそもの計画や開発はもっと以前から行われているはずで、
2005年の本書発売内容でも同じことを繰り返し延べているだけに過ぎない。

今後のナレッジマネジメントの姿を探していた私にははっきり言って失望した。

ということで、取り合えず後先を考えずに富士通がやっているナレッジマネジメントを知りたければ買ってみるのも悪くないだろう。

富士通と言えば「内側から見た富士通「成果主義」の崩壊」（2004年7月23日）という暴露本のお陰で成果主義の導入失敗で有名であるし、一時はNECよりも改革への取組みが遅いと株式市場から批判されてもいた。富士通に対しては様々なイメージがあると思うが、私自身は、富士通は短期的な結果重視でがむしゃらなドライで切り捨て方の組織だとイメージしていた。

そんな富士通に97年から現在に至るまでKMを続けている部があるなど到底信じられない。なぜなら本書を監修した野中先生の提唱するKMは「愚直なまでの繰り返し」を重要するだからだ。KMを根付かせるためには本書にも紹介されている「スパイラル・アップ」の仕組みが必要なのだが、その言葉通り、らせん状に繰返す終わりの無い活動をしなければならない。富士通の社内にそういう活動をする組織があるのに驚いたし、黒川社長自らが野中教授のKMを理解し推進力となっていることにも驚いた。

富士通とＫＭについて知りたい人向け。やや広報的臭いがするので星３つ。

ITツールに頼る間違ったレビューが出ていたので、誤解したが、ナレッジマネジメントとは業務改革を継続的に仕組みつくりであると書かれていて、富士通社長が述べている組織を変えていきながら、信頼生の向上を図っていることなどの説明が出ていて参考になった。そして結局は人のやる気を引き出す努力をしている様子が書かれている。
　情報システムについては、今後は基幹の業務システムの信頼性向上や再構築に社員のより良い知識を集中させることが大きな課題だと理解した。
