手軽に世界の言語を概観できるということで買ってみた。
130程の言語に4ページずつ割かれているが(5つの英語の地域変種を含む)、
いわゆる｢メジャー｣な言語から｢マイナー｣な言語まで幅広くカバーしている。
特に気に入っているのはインド系文字などをローマ字化せずにそのまま載せている点と、
その言語の代表的な入門書や文法書、辞書を挙げている点である。
勿論ページ数が限られているのでそれほど大した情報は得られないが、
概括的情報を得たいだけの場合には重宝している。
ただ、言語によって内容の濃さがまちまちなので星を1つ減らした。
