ライトじゃないファンタジーモノです。中身はラノベとそんなに変わりませんが。
ネット連載していたものが本になったものらしく、全７巻、かな。の最初の巻。

帯に「シリーズ50万部突破」とか書いてあるし、売れてるものは
読んでみようというだけでノリで手に取った本。

感想は、舞台設定とかキャラクターとか、悪くないけどなんとなく
ひっかかってのめりこまない。そんな感じ。自主制作っぽいニオイが
するんですよ。なんていうか「いかにも」なの。世界の作りこみ方とか
その説明の仕方とか、キャラクターのプロフィールとか変なクセとか。
なんつーか「あーわたしが書いたらこういうことしちゃうかも？」みたいな笑。

まぁ、編集者のツッコミやダメ出しが入らずに自分の世界で作り上げたから
こうなったんでしょうね。悪くはないんですよ。書きあげてるのも立派ですよ。
面白さも悪くはないけど、逆にいえばその程度。続きは読んでもいいけど、
買わなくてもいいや。それくらい。

こういうのはゲーム向きですかね。
細かいところをこだわりすぎても、こだわらなすぎても小説としては苦しいね。

本屋で平積みにされていたので、手にとって見たんですが・・・
正直がっかりしました。

本当にファンタジーが好きな方にはおすすめできません。
他の方がおっしゃっていたように、ご都合主義のオンパレードでした。

この金額に見合う内容だとは、到底思えませんでした。
もう少し安価でしたら、もっと違う印象を抱いたかもしれません。

大型書店で平積みされていたので、次巻と合わせて買いました。
が、１巻は何とか最後まで読んだものの、２巻目は未開封のままです。

帯には素晴らしい評判が書かれていましたけれど、読み進めても全然…？？？
キャラクターが魅力と帯にはありましたが、文章から全くそのようには感じられませんでした。
国の興亡をテーマにしているのに、重臣たちは全く深みというものがなく（しかも数人しかいないのでは）、主人公たちはなぜか異常に若くして出世しているのにもかかわらず国王から反感を買っていて？？？
反感を買っているなら出世はしないでしょう〜なんてつっこみどころ満載！

戦に関しても、ゲームのようです。
およそ戦法というものもなく、まともに読んでいられません。

インターネットから出版に至ったとのことなので、編集者が付いていない、選考されていない、という小説はこんなものなのかと思ってしまいました。

たくさんの小説を読まれている人には到底楽しめないと思いました。

わりと面白い!と思った色んな文庫を読んだけどこの作品は近い内に大化けすると思う。それに主人公のレインが鈍感で敏感なのも私のツボにハマった。くっくっ(笑)
