コアなマニア向けの本（同人誌）を商材にオークションを使って成功した人のエピソード。数日間の間に数十人の人を雇い数十万から百万単位の資金を投じて本を仕入れるあたりは他の人には真似の出来ないやり方で痛快です。確かに１冊数万円で取引される本があるのは事実で、作者は目の付け所が良かったと思います。過去の話ばかりではなく、実は同人誌市場はすこしずつ形を変えてビジネスチャンスは続いているので、同人誌の知識があるかたには参考になるかも。（小規模の転売ヤーは今ヤフーに一杯います。その中でやっていくには後発組は大変でしょう）

ただし、同人誌というもの自体色んな意味でグレーゾーンに属する存在ですし、知識が無い一般の人がゼロから始めるにはキケンで無理な話。またサイドビジネスとして考えるにはあたりハズレが大きくリスクが高い分野。成功談の読み物として読む分には興味深いです。これだけ稼いで殆んど手元に残っていないというのが、同人誌界の実態を象徴するようで印象に残りました。（泡の如し）

4.0 out of 5 stars ヤフオクの歴史を知りたい方に, 2004/7/10
ちょっと大げさな言い方をすれば、
ヤフオクがこれまでたどってきた歴史がわかる本です。
ネットオークション初心者には不親切な部分もありますが、
少しでもヤフオク経験がある人なら面白く読めるでしょう。

ただ、著者の方法論は過去のやり方がベースになっているので、
今からこの本に書いてあるようなやり方で儲けることは難しいと思います。

内容は非常に興味深く、それだけなら星５つでもいいのですが、
この本を書かれたライターの方（著者とは別の方）の文章が
「ですます」「だ、である」混在で非常に読みづらかったので
星を１つ減らさせていただきました。

帯にあった「転売屋」の言葉にひかれて購入しました。
（転バイヤー）と読むそうです。

過去に儲かった話がたくさん書いてあったのですが、
全部はすべてブームが過ぎてしまったようで
現在進行形のノウハウとしてはあまり実用的じゃありませんでした。
悪く言えば、単なる「儲け話体験談」です。
ただオークションということが目新しいというだけ。

ただ、語り口調が偉そうじゃないところには好感が持てました。
