セレクトショップに関する本てなかなか無いです。
最近、セレクトショップのバイヤーという仕事が注目され、憧れる方も多いと思います。これは相当役に立つと思います。

この本は、単なる表面的な知識だけでなく、しっかりと“経営”という観点まで踏み込んでいる点が、最も良い点です。

内容もポイントに別れていて分かりやすいです。

実際にセレクトショップを経営していらっしゃる筆者の、“生きた”情報を活用すべきですね。

ファッションビジネス、特にセレクトショップのバイヤーを目指す方には是非お勧めしたい本です。

構成もよくできていて、
前半は世界のセレクトショップの歴史に始まり、現在のショップ形態とその相違点（販売方法・収益方法・取り扱いブランド・顧客ターゲット等）、そして夫々の形態の今後の方向性までの考察・・
後半は実際にセレクトショップオーナーである筆者からみた「あるべきバイヤーの姿（必要な能力）」と筆者の体験談。
大変わかりやすく、どんなバイヤーになるべきか・・と考えさせられる本です。どちらかというとビジネス本の要素が多く含まれておりますが、さらっと読めるので「バイヤー」に興味がある方は是非一読をお勧めします。多分共感できた方はそのあと神戸のマトッティ（筆者のお店）に行きたくなるはず！
