私達には、ちょっぴり困ることでも、イタリア人にとっては
日常茶飯事のこと、それを、生活者兼ジャーナリストの目で
しっかりと捉え、ユーモアに表現するセンスに高い評価
イタリア旅行前の｢心」の準備本として利用価値があるかも。

オールアバウトでも読みましたが、改めて電車の中で読んでて思わず「ブハッ」っといっちゃいました。この「笑え方」はのだめカンタービレとたぶん同じくらい？岩田さんの文章のノリ、最高です。ローマ暮らしが、ありありと頭に浮かびますよ。月並みですが、30代の働く女性（私もそう）に読んでほしいと思います。理由は読めば分かります！

イタリアの、そしてイタリア人の話は本当におもしろい。30すぎの岩田さんとその視点が最高におもしろい。
興味深く、なぜか元気になります。
日本の女性は、変なところで頑張らないといけない雰囲気があるのかもしれない。働いていてもいなくても。こだわるべきところは違うところかもしれない。もっと気持ち良くある事ができるんだ！と、変に感じてしまったのでした。
読むべきです。
