絵も綺麗で楽しく、内容もとても爽やか
さらに音声ＣＤまで付いてるので
チビッコも明るく楽しめる絵本になってます。
でも、
ストーリーに無駄が多く
貴乃花がバッタを通して伝えたかったメッセージは
ちょっと伝わりにくくなってしまっている印象かな。

タレント本と見られがちですが、実はしっかりとした内容の絵本。
やんちゃだけど、まっすぐな心をもったバッタくん達が、力をあわせて蝶を助けるお話。
単に甘口の絵本が多い中、さすがは横綱だなあと言えるストーリー。
巻末の詩も美しく、ポップな絵がとても素敵です。わき役のダンゴ虫くんなんか微笑ましく可愛いキャラクターです。

最近は、なにかとマスコミ的には、負の報道が多かった著者ですが、まっすぐな理想をもった人なんだということが、この本からもよくわかります。
関取としての半生を、童話で表現するところなんかは、とてもシャイな人なのかも。

CDが付いています。なんと親方の御一家総出演で、絵本を朗読しています。
バックの音楽も爽やかです。景子さんがやはり一番上手に読んでますね。

わが子を、一本スジの通った男の子に育てたいと考えているお母さん、(もちろん女の子もです)　ぜひ読んであげてほしい絵本です。
もちろん、大人が読んでも愛と勇気のパワーがもらえる絵本です。
