珈琲にこだわるための入門編として、とてもいい本だと思います。
写真が多く、淹れ方が分かりやすいのです。そして、淹れ方だけではなく、コーヒー豆の産地や豆の種類まで写真入りで解説されています。おいしい珈琲を家で飲みたいけれど、どんな豆がいいのかわからない、と店に行く度に戸惑っていた私も、この本を参考にいろいろ挑戦できそうです。

珈琲器具やカップも紹介され、目を楽しませることも出来ますが、欲を言えば、紅茶用と誤解されているコーヒープレスにも言及していただきたかった。
