これからの日本人、いや欧米先進国のビジネスプロフェショナルを目指す人にとっても、参考となるキーワードが満載である。
語り口の平易さから一気に読了できるが、一つひとつの重みを良く反芻して読み込むべきである。

個としての能力を磨き、格差社会を勝ち抜くための諸条件が列挙されている。
それらは世界のビジネスエリートが意識し始めていることばかりであり、極めてタイムリーな内容となっている。

知的生産を可能にする必要な三要素として、「想像力」「論理力」「言語力」を挙げている。
人間理解・他者意識、感性を鍛えることの重要性、論理的思考と物語る能力の必要性。
これらは、情緒の復権がブームになりつつある昨今の論調をリードしつつ、問題点の解決策までさらりと提示しているところが心地よい。

情緒や共感こそが、これからの世界のビジネスリーダーに求められる能力である、と言われ始めた。
それは、強固な論理力に支えられた、という必要条件を前提としている。情緒・共感と論理力は車の両輪である。

某予備校の現代文講師として圧倒的な人気を固持している筆者。
学生に語りかけるような分かりやすい口調と、本質を捉えた文章で
現代に生きるための必要な力(想像力・論理力・言語力)を明確に著している。

今日、論理の重要性をうたっている本は非常に多い。
その中でも、この本は社会問題を例にとった分かりやすい説明と、
本質をついた語り口で、読者を飽きさせることをしない。
走るように読み進められる。

知的生産を可能にするために必要な能力として、「想像力」、「論理力」、「言語力」の3点を挙げ、特に「論理力」を中心にその習得ノウハウを自らの経験をふまえて解説。「論理力」がつく新聞の読み方、人に説明するときの留意点、論理的思考力をアップする読書方法やパソコンの使い方など、即実践できる具体的な方法が多数紹介されているのが特徴。文章をうまく書きたい方、人にうまく説明できるようになりたい方に特にお勧めです。
