　韓流ブームも安定期にさしかかる今、既に類書が数多く出ている中で本書の特徴を見つけるのは難しい。
　外交官の子として東京で生まれ、成長の一時期を日本で過ごした韓国人である筆者の生い立ちから独自の視点を期待したが、内容的に筆者だからこそ記すことができたという内容はほとんど無いように見受けられた。
　ただ、そういった点に期待を持たず、かつ、いまから韓国を知ろうという人にとっては良くまとまったエッセイであり有益ではないかと思う。
　ひとつ誤解を恐れずに記すなら、韓国人の中には、これ以上に日本びいきの人間もいれば、伝統的な韓国的思考の人もいるのでこの中の記述が韓国人の考え方の全てでは無い。だから言動や振る舞いには十分な配慮が必要である。それは日本人同士でも同じことであるように。

韓国を好きになって、韓国のことをよく知らない方にお勧めです。
韓国人の友達が多い方はすでに知っていることも書いてあるので、
最近韓国の魅力を知り、好きになりはじめた方でしたら大変楽しめる本です。

韓国について書かれている本は沢山あるし、ドラマ映画で韓国のことを知っているつもりでしたが、この本を読んで韓国と日本の違いを沢山しりビックリしました。
自分は韓国のことを知っているつもりでしたがまだまだだと気が付きました。
似ているようで似ていない。似ていないようで似ている不思議な国だと感じました。

自分は個人的にヒョジュンさんのファンですが、ファンでない方が読んでもとても面白いです。
韓国に興味を持ち始めた方に大変お勧めの本です。

何気なく入った本屋さんで購入。出勤の途中に読んでます。色んなお話が入ってて読み応えがありそうです。まだ読み初めですが、イラストも入っててわかりやすいですね。これならすーっと読めそうで期待度大です！
