ファンになって16年ですが、近年の西さん作品は作品毎に精度が増していってるような気がします。西ワールドがより明確に、明快に、豊かになっているというか。
そのベースはあんまり変わらないんですけどね。

この「ひらひらひゅ〜ん」はオムニバス物で、開開高校の弓道部男子を中心にして部員の高校生活や恋愛が描かれるのですが、相変わらず上手いです。
変態ちっくな妄想をする自虐的なメガネ、
可愛い男子後輩のシャンプーの匂いで勃ってしまう少年、
小姑扱いされる弓道オタクの自分探し、
男前の部長に恋愛なのか友情なのかわからぬ嫉妬を抱くメガネ、
スポーツ万能少年の道場破り…など盛りだくさん。（メガネ、イケメン率高し）

不器用で悶々としてて、女の子のことが大好きで、そんな自分のことがよくわからない。いつもオロオロ、おバカさんな西さん作品の登場人物がきっと愛しくなる爽やかな作品です。

眼鏡好き、個性派集団がわいわいやってるのが好き、爽やか九州男児が好きな人は是非どうぞ。「ＳＴＡＹ」シリーズより青春のお笑い度、みっともなさ度とおまぬけ度が、男子が多いだけにいい感じで増してます。

とある高校の弓道部を舞台とする、青春物語(?）

登場人物たちが皆一様に一口には言い表せないほどの個性を持っている。
それなのにそこら辺の、どこにでもいそうな感じの少年少女でもあるのだ。

自分が高校生だった頃も、彼らと同じように過ごしていたのだろう。
下らない事で悩んで、悩みきれずに日々を悶々と、しかしどこか充実して過ごす。

他愛のない事さえも重大に思えてしかたがなく、
飛び込んでくる物事一つ一つに何かリアクションを返したくなる。

思い出すと恥ずかしいようなことを必死でやっていた日々。
その当時、その若さでしか出せないひたむきさ。

青春という一言で片付けてしまうのはもったいないような気がするが
その一言で片付けてしまうのが一番しっくり来るような気もする。

このお話は、そういう、読んでいると胸がくすぐったくなるようなお話である。
しかし、真面目にしんみりするだけの青春話にはもう飽き飽している。

そういう方こそ読むといい。
爆笑、そして自分の過去を振り返り似たような心当たりに恥ずかしくなるだろう。

その恥こそを堪能すべきだ。

県立開開（ひらひら）高校弓道部が舞台のオムニバス・ストーリー★

毎回変わる主人公はバラエティーに富んだ男子部員たち
色んな部活モノがある中で弓道はまず袴姿からして素敵だし･･･すごく良かったです（輝）
西さんの描かれる恋のカタチがすごく好みで（笑）
もちろん悩んだり悶えたりするんですけどジメジメとしたものを感じさせない雰囲気、空気感が読んでいて心地よい（惚）　　
自分的には宝代＆堀口眼鏡コンビの話が好きでした〜
宝代君普通にいたら恐いはずなんですけどね（笑）終わり方がすごく面白くて！
堀口君はやっぱり弓道オタクなところがツボでした、がんばれ男の子〜

第１〜５話＋αが収録されています
それぞれの恋の続きが是非読みたいです!!
