この人の描く世界は、冬の陽気のように温かい。
裏切りや幼さ、傷つけあう人間関係の中で、
傷ついた人も傷つけた人も、
何かを心の深淵に沈めながら、生きていく。
それぞれの物語の登場人物に、作者は
『あなたはここにいていいのよ』と、語り
かけているような気がする。
まっすぐなだけじゃいられない、
そんな人の在り方を肯定する、
作者の視線が心地いい。

さすが、というか。
よしなが先生の世界だなぁ。
で、私は気に入ってます。
ある親子とその周りの人たちのお話です。
いろんなドラマがあって、いろんな人が出てきます。
優しいばっかりじゃないけど、ツライばっかりでもないよ、
というカンジでしょうか。

　父子二人の一家を中心に展開する、よしむら風ジュブナイル漫画。冒頭は、中学生になった息子の「彼女が妊娠したかも」とゆー爆弾告白から始まります。ありそーな話なだけに、頭が痛い。お父さん、御愁傷様です。やっぱ性教育は恥ずかしがらずに、避妊法まで教えとかなきゃと思いました。

　最後の「バレエの王子様」も、間違いなく変わり者のバレエ少年に対して、実は周囲は内心こんな風に思ってました、という下りが個人的にとても好きです。

　父親の友人の話１編があれほど色っぽくなければ、迷わず図書館のヤングアダルトコーナーにお勧めする１冊。でも個人的に買うのは全然ＯＫ、というより、その辺に転がってるボーイズラブの本買うくらいなら、これをきっちり読んどいてください。
