『天界樹夢語り』・『月光界秘譚』・『月光界・逢魔が時の聖地』・『月光界秘譚―永の楽土（ウィングス・ノヴェルス）』と続いてきた月光界シリーズの完結です。（『月下秘抄』についてはよく分かりませんが（笑））

正直、こんなに早く完結する物とは思っていませんでした。天界樹が７冊書けて語られたのに対し、逢魔が時の聖地については３冊ですから・・・。
正直「ええっ！ここで終わりっ？！」という感じはあります。でも、よくよく考えてみると「シリーズの終わり」には相応しいのかな・・。ブルーと暗黒丸の間の決着はつきますし。雑誌で読んだときとは違って、「それぞれの後日談」もありますし。
ちなみに出てきた登場人物は、ブルー、暗黒丸、スフィンクス、トープ（謎の多い月神殿長）、ロック、ターコイズ（しっぽ付き主宰）、氷樹（ブルー達の母親）。
ここからは、ちょっとの出演。ショウメイ（新キャラ。ｐ２９０~２９４）、スピネル（闇宮殿長。名前のみ登場）、銀鱗姫、緑魔、サファ（それぞれ少しづつ登場）、おまけイラストにて真牙、いんきょじじーふたり。

内容については「暗黒丸、意外っ！」「ロック、意外っ！」この二つにつきます。ロックは実は××で××になって、暗黒丸はそれに対して××して・・・！！！月光界シリーズを読んでいた方には必見です！！（×は放送禁止用語じゃありません（笑））

　角川スニーカーより完成シリーズとして出版された「月光界シリーズ」や「夕咲きの姫」をも取り込んで花開いた、「天界樹夢語り-妖魔の里-」を出発点とした壮大なファンタジー叙事詩がここについに大団円を迎える。
　欲を言えば、著者曰く「書き下ろしはオマケ…」などと言わず、外伝の外伝と言うか…カーテンコールからもう一作品を望むくらい『読みたい！』と叫びたい。
　今明かされる真実は、著者の全『月光界』を読まないと語りつくせない。１３年の集大成、全シリーズを読んで、あなたも月光界に夢を馳せよう……

『 逢魔が時の聖地』が月光界シリーズの最終話になるのかな、という考えもありましたが、おそらく違うんじゃないでしょうか。

このシリーズでは、妖魔側の過去の清算であって…と思いたいのですが、それだけではなく、ショッキングブルーの選択で世界は当分、変動なしの方向に向かったんだと思います。

変動なしとは言っても、タピールの政策は止まりようもなく、サファも最後に顔を出したように月光界は大きな渦の中にあります。

タピール、雪耳、シンガ、サファ、リンドー弓香などなど、多くの謎は残されたままです。

時間,空間的な幅があり非常に魅力的な月光界シリーズ。

このシリーズの流れに大きく関わっているショッキングブルーの選択はどのようなものだったのか。

ブルーと氷樹、暗黒丸の過去とこれからとともに謎が氷解する、麻城さんならではの作品だなぁと考えます。
