この物語は・・・
人の感情を結晶化させる能力を持つ主人公･凍雨と、その父･白夜(妖怪)、
それからこの親子とある契約を結んでいる青年･黄龍
の３人を中心にストーリーが展開されていきます。

物語の内容としては、おとぎばなしをベースにしており、
この巻では｢人魚姫｣と｢浦島太郎｣に関連した２つの話が掲載されています。
よく知られたおとぎばなしをベースにしている点や
中心人物３人の性格・能力は設定として興味深く、
読者をぐっと引き込んでくるような一冊です。

4.0 out of 5 stars おとぎ話がベースのライトノベルです。, 2006/3/9
主な登場人物は３名だけ。内訳は、妖怪１人半妖怪１人人間１匹。全員男性です。毎回女性キャラがゲストとして登場します。話の内容は、感情の結晶を質として預かる半妖怪の青年と、とある事情により嫌々下僕に甘んじている人間の青年、さらに半妖怪青年の昼行灯な父妖怪の３人が、降りかかってきた火の粉を「まぁはらっとくか」というスローな感じで解決していくお話です。この作品の作者さんの書く小説はほぼ全て読んでいますが、その中では私的にあまり順位は高くつけてないです。登場人物があまり能動的に行動しないので展開があまり速くありません。刺激的な小説に慣れてしまっているなら物足りないと感じるかもしれません。ですが、好きな人ははまってしまうだろうと思います。
昼間ではなく夜寝る前に窓辺で読みたい本ですね。窓の外に妖怪がいるような気がしてきますよ。

ちなみに、BLではありません。

この作者さんの作品は、今回始めて手に取りましたが掘り出し物を見つけた気分です。
BLを期待される方には期待はずれかもしれませんが、設定・登場人物・ストーリーの面白さは秀逸。
人らしからぬ凍雨（半分妖）の性格が、私は大好きです。
登場人物のイラスト、特に黄龍に違和感を感じるので、☆四つとさせて頂きました。
まずは、ご一読あれ。
