　装幀画像がなくて残念ですが、本書の装幀は漫画家・羽海野チカさんが描いたあまりにも可愛らしいものなのです。思わず夢見る乙女（ある意味当てはまっているが…）のメルヘンチックなエッセイや恋のお話でも書いてあるのだと思ってしまうところですが、それは本書のタイトル通り――「妄想」＋「炸裂」。かなりインパクトのある熟語が表すように――な内容なのです。

　鋭い観察力と聡明さと笑いさえ誘う毒気、少々の下ネタを妄想という電気毛布（命名・カルロ）で包んだような、１度読み始めたら抜け出せない爆笑エッセイ。

　ツボをついてくる笑いを抑えきれず、電車の中で読むのを断念して家で思いっきり笑いながら読みました。活字だけの本でこれだけ笑えるって久しぶりでした。

三浦しをんの妄想はとどまることを知らない。とくにやおいネタは爆走しまくりです。おもわず笑っちゃいます。新刊の「しをんのしおり」以上に「炸裂」しているしをんワールドをぜひお楽しみください。それにしても今回のワールドカップではどんな「妄想」を披露してくれるのでしょうか、とっても楽しみです。

盆栽を育て、津軽三味線をかき鳴らし、おやじ好みでマンガ好き。うら若き乙女でありながら、渋い趣味のオンパレード（笑）
それに加えて、ホモネタや妄想ネタがこれでもかっていうほど繰り出されるので、百花繚乱の爆笑三昧。
部分的にかなりディープな話もあるけど、笑い飛ばせる程度なので軽いノリで楽しもう。

申し訳ないが、五十路の境を超えたオジサンにはついていけない世界でした。
今どきの若い女性のユーモアのセンスを学ぶ参考材料にはなるかもしれないけど・・・。
