　取り立てて特徴のないスペイン観光紹介雑誌です。旅行の前になんとなく一通りざっとスペインを見渡してみるにはちょうど良いかなという感じの一冊です。写真も豊富ですし、記述もまぁ広く浅く適度になされているという印象を得ました。

　しかし旅行に持っていくには向かないと思います。100頁に満たない薄さですが、縦26センチ、横21センチという大判の本ですから、これを手にしながら街を歩くのは大変でしょう。旅に実際に持参するのは「地球の歩き方」あたりにしておいて、スペインへ行ってみたいなと漠然と思い始めた人が、旅程のラフ・スケッチを描いてみる時の参考に本書を利用するという程度にとどめておいたほうが無難です。

売りである「街歩きMAP」の精度がイマイチ。欧州では、ストリート名の記述が無い地図は使えないですね。
また。地下鉄、バスなどの路線図も、非常に使い難く、正直、個人旅行向けのガイドとしては厳しいと思います。

紹介されているレストランの質もイマイチでした。既に閉店している店も何軒かありましたし。2004年5月のデータとの事ですが、実際は、もう少し古いようです。

まあ1000円の本ですので、旅行前の「気分盛り上げ用」「予備知識吸収用」として使用し、現地で使用するガイドブックは、別の物とするのが良いかも知れません。

尚、上記はすべてバルセロナでの使用に関して。マドリードでは、また評価も違うかも知れませんね。
