今まで出ていた単行本だけ持ってはいましたが、雑誌掲載中も読んだ事は少なく、特に思い入れはありませんでした。しかし、5巻は凄くよかった！と思いました。正確には5巻でこの漫画がすごく好きになりました。5巻中で2度泣いてしまいました。1こは普通の人は泣かないような所だと思いますが・・・(^-^;)。買ってから1週間程経ちますが何度も読み返し時には涙してしまいます。初めて知りましたが、雑誌と最終回が違っていたのですね。そちらも読んでみたかった気がしますが。結末は賛否両論あるようですが私も星4つです。1~4巻の時はさほど思わなかったのですが、全巻を通して、描かれているテーマに基づいてよく勉強してるというか、薄っぺらではない内容に現実味があるし、登場人物1人1人の性格や世界観がよくわかるのでこれまた現実味があり感情移入しやすいです。主人公は紫なのですが心の声の文章も漫画では無く普通の本みたいで作家先生の凄さがわかります。5巻の帯にも書いてありましたがジョージの言った「自分の可能性を信じなきゃ何も始まらない」という言葉、すごく深いですね。他にも漫画とは思えない程深いと思える語録がたくさんあります。紫を通して自分もこんなんだったなあとかいう所をジョージが筋の通った言葉でばっさり切っていくのも目が覚めるようでした。ジョージの言った言葉、後でこういう意味だったんだーと思える事もしばしばでした。全体を通して完成度が高く何度も読みたくなる作品です。絵もすごくきれいですね。

値段なだけに、
表紙とかに凝っていて、
リッチな気分になりながら
読む、本当「宝石のよう」な
ストーリーは自分の気分まで
キラキラにしてくれました！

いつもドキドキしながら読んだ
コミック、5巻で終っちゃったのは
さみしかったけど、
5巻からさらりと落ちた
「招待状」は何か最後の「しめ」に
合う演出でした。

まだまだ続くものと思っていたので5巻で終わっちゃうなんて意外でした。
ジョージのあの行き過ぎな個人主義は果たして直る（？）のか…
１巻からずっと気になっていた疑問の答えはここにあります。
そして矢沢さんの提示する今の時代の風景（他者。現実。夢。などなど…）もまた、深い。です。

矢沢さんの描く世界は、設定は少女漫画なんだけど、本当に登場人物たちがリアルで。
感情移入しすぎてときどき胸が痛くなります。
だけど話は非常に面白いし絵もすごくきれいでおしゃれだし、
構図や構成も練られている感じがしてスマート！
単なる冗談かと思っていた何気ないセリフに実は巧みな伏線が張られていたりして、

何度読み返しても新鮮にずっと楽しめます。
ひとつの漫画作品の完成度にしては文句なしですね。

結末には賛否両論あるでしょうが…
これから自分の人生が進んでいって、ある時点で振り返った時に、
この漫画の結末に違った感想を持てるようになるかもしれない。
と私には思えました。

古本屋に売ったりしないでしばらくは本棚に大事に取っておきたいような、
そんな特別な作品であります。
