過ぎた日の出来事を思うとき、ふと、あの頃の自分はなんて無知で愚かだったのだろう？と思うことがある。あのとき、大好きなあの人が言った言葉は、もっと違う意味を持っていたのではないか・・・と。

「恋愛」というのは、男女間にだけ存在するわけではないのでは？と、本書を読み終わってからなんとなく思った。伊坂幸太郎さんの「透明ポーラーベア」中村航さんの「突き抜けろ」や、中田永一さんの「百瀬、こっちを向いて」などは、恋愛だけではない、男同士の友情や尊敬なども描かれていて、学生時代の淡い思い出などを彷彿させる。
本多孝好さんの「Sidewalk　Talk」は離婚を決めた夫婦の話。このまま離れてしまうのか、こんな紙切れ１枚で簡単に？という思いや、すれ違いの日々に諦めを感じる僕。最後のくだりにぐっときた。

大人になると、恋をするとか、誰かを愛するとか、そういう単純な気持ちではなく、仕事だとか人付き合いだとかいう、他の事に縛り付けられてしまって、自分の中にある純粋な部分に気付かなくなってしまうことが多い。読み終わって、そんな自分を反省した。そして、ふわりと心が温かくなるのを感じた。

大好きだった人や、大好きな人を思い出しながら読んで欲しい。

タイトルがストレートすぎて手を出しにくかったが、伊坂幸太郎の「透明ポーラーベア」を読みたくて手にした作品である。しかしながら、伊坂氏の作品はもちろん、他の作品もよくできており、非常にお買い得な作品集になっていると思う。お薦めである。

６人の人気男性作家が、それぞれのスタイルで愛を語る、短編小説集。

本書はまずデザインが素晴らしい。パステル調のボーダー柄に、ホワイトのカバーを切り抜いて"I love you”アマゾンの写真で見るよりも実物の方が素敵です。また、それぞれの作品のしきり（？）部分にそれぞれのパステルカラーが使われており、統一感のある仕上がりに。ギフトに最適かな？

僕は伊坂幸太郎目当てで読みましたが、他の作家の作品も新鮮で楽しめました。

伊坂の『透明ポーラーベア』はさすがの出来映え。白熊の体毛に関するちょっとしたトリビアも身についてお得です。

その他の作家さんたちも、青春あり、思わぬ再会あり、大人の別れありとバリエーションに富んでいてそれぞれの個性が出ています。伊坂以外では特に中田の作品が気に入りました。短編集は普段接しない作家との新たな出会いが魅力ですね。

短編ならではのさらりとした読後感。ロマンティックで前向きに恋する気持ちが湧いてくる本。特にギフトにおすすめ？！
