可愛いけど「一生もん」の一級品お土産や京都のこだわりのお店などが紹介されたガイドブック。
かつて京都に住んでたという著者が紹介する街案内（鴨川のちどりの敷石など）はなかなか面白かったにしろ、
自分もかつてはオリーブ少女などと呼ばれた世代ですが、いかんせんあまりの「乙女」目線がこそばゆくて、デートを想定したポエムっぽい本文に「これ本気で言ってんの？」と何度も吹き出し悶えるところあり。うけねらいならかなり面白い域です。すごいお年を召した著者の方かと思ったけどそうでもなかった。ひたすらうっとりとしっとりと乙女に酔ってる感じがちょっとキツいです。それとも世の中の乙女基準では当たり前のノリなんでしょうか・・・？

甲斐みのりさんのチョイスやセンスは好きなんですがやたらと乙女乙女連発の乙女大安売り(それがコンセプトであり売りなんだから仕方がないのかもしれないが)なのと¨ステキでモテモテなワタシ¨を臆面無く出し過ぎるのが、微妙なところ。個人的には酒や煙草を人前で嗜む(ことのできる年齢の)人が自分を乙女と称するのも違和感感じます。私の乙女のイメージがおっさん臭いのかもしれませんが。

ＭＫタクシーに乗りお姫様気分になるところからこの本は始まります。
場所の一つ一つはそれほど穴場でもなかったりするのですが紹介の仕方が素敵でした。
住んでいた体験に基づいて書かれたものだから現実味もあるし、筆者の目線がよく解る楽しい本です。
少し変わったガイドブックとしてもＯＫだし、写真を撮る参考にもなるかもしれません。
ただ、少し気になったのは、京都をあまりにもあこがれの地ととりすぎた感じと筆者自身が気に入った生活パターンをこれしかないと押しつけるような言葉があったところでした。
これは読者の感じ方にもよるので気にならない人の方が多いと思いますが…
