銀行強盗4人組のお話．
ですが，人を傷つけたりするなどということはありません．
計画的に，そして美しく去っていく愉快な人たちです．

4人それぞれが特技を持ち合わせているわけですが，
中でも『おしゃべりな男』の個性は抜けておもしろいと思います．

ことあるたびに彼は口を出し，仲間たちとも言い合うのですが，
すべてが理屈っぽく，くだらなく，うるさいのですが読ませてくれます．
そして，それらを適当に交わすしたり茶化す仲間たち．
これらのやり取りはコメディのような雰囲気さえあります．

シリアスな部分もあったりしますが，全体的にはユーモラス．
テンポもいいので飽きることなく読むことができると思います．

伊坂幸太郎氏の文庫第三弾は、四人のギャング（銀行強盗）のお話。
「オーデュボン」、「ラッシュライフ」に比べてテンポ重視のスリリングな展開です。

とにかく、四人のキャラクターが個性的で、コミカル且つお洒落な台詞回しは、銀行強盗
という本来は悪事である仕業を、不謹慎ながらも魅力的な職業のように感じさせます。

それに加えて、前二作同様、細かく張られた複線が最後見事に一つにまとまるところは、
いつもながら圧巻です。

一気に読めて、読後感も爽快。
是非、この四人が登場する続編を読んでみたいです。

「軽快な文体で良作を書き続ける作家が、ギャング小説？を書くとこうなりました。」という作品。作者が書くと、銀行強盗が洒落た職業に見えてくるから不思議だ。

作者自身、「ミステリーでは伏線の張り方が難しい」とインタビューで答えているが、確かに本作品では、他の作品と比べて「謎解き」という要素は薄い。しかし、4人がギャングとなったきっかけをはじめとして、4人のキャラクターのたてかたがうまく、一気に読まされる良作であることは間違いない。
