以前にハードカバーで出ていたものの文庫版です。
小料理屋を営む女将の近辺でいろいろなことが起こります。
緑色の桜の話、物騒な事件・・・
女将が作る京都のおかずは影の主人公と言えるのではないでしょうか？
これに女将の恋愛や過去も絡んできます。
ほぼ一話完結型なので、手軽に読めます。
忙しい方にもオススメです！

ＮＨＫの深夜の連続ドラマ「七色のおばんざい」の原作ということで読んでみた。

ドラマの方は、相田翔子ふんする女将と筧利夫ふんする清水を中心に様々な人間模様が描かれる。相田翔子のどことなく影があって、でも周りを包み込むような優しさに惹かれて見ていた。

女将、彼女の恋人？清水、その他主要な登場人物は、この原作の中に登場するし、女将が若い頃パリにいて、そこで起きた事件が彼女の影の遠因であるという点枠組みは同じであるが、個々のエピソードや、パリで起きたことは、ドラマでは原作と違う形に脚色されている。

だからと言って、原作の価値が下がるわけではない。むしろ、ドラマの「ばんざい屋」を思い出しつつも、別のエピソードとして読めば、また味わいがある。ドラマ「七色のおばんざい」に惹かれた人は、ご一読を。

くたびれた心を抱えていても、その店に来るとほっとする。そんな雰囲気の「ばんざい屋」。心ゆくまで料理を楽しみ、心ゆくまで飲むことが出来る。それは女将の人柄が店にも現れているからなのだろう。自分が傷ついたことがあるから、他人の心の痛みが分かる。
人々の心のふれあいを描いたこの本は、読んでいて心にしみる。こんなお店が本当にあったらいいのに、と思った。
