いくつかの偶然と人々の思惑，そこへ外部からのハプニングと，
パニックミステリのようにトラブルが起こっていくのですが，
その割にスピード感に乏しく，思ったほどの緊張感もありません．

また，トラブルや人々の事情がうまく拾いきれておらず，
放ったらかしの勘違いやいくつかの行動なども引っかかります．
『事情』を抱える人々のその後が曖昧なのもスッキリとしません．

作品の展開上，話が散漫になりがちなのは仕方ないにせよ，
テンポが今ひとつなぶん，どうしても消化不良なところが目立ちます．
勢いがあれば，ある程度は『ノリ』で突っ走れたかなと思うのですが…．

う〜ん、長編だとやっぱり展開に緩みがあるというか、
シャープな感じがしなくなりますね。
４作目ですが、やはり長編よりは短編の方が
そのすごさが出る作家さんですね。

次から次に出てくる謎、というか
謎が解決されないまま
終わってしまっているような、
ぽ〜んと放り投げ出されたような，そんな感じを受けました。
結局、バーの控え室にあった死体は誰？
玉置＝田沼夫人？？
分からなかったのは俺だけ？？

でも、アール柱野はいいキャラなので
逝ってしまう前の姿をもっと見てみたい。
あと、がしゃぽん（うちのほうではがちゃがちゃ）も
本当にあれば楽しいかも。
