なぜ生きるのか？
それでも生きるのか？

フランクルの強く、しなやかな生きる意思を感じて欲しい。

「意味」により、人生はよみがえる。

タイトルは「癒し本」のようでどうもピンとこないが、内容は文字通りの地獄から奇跡的に生還した筆者の思いが初心者にも伝わるよう、平易な言葉で語られている。事実や経験は「意味」が付与されて初めて自分の経験として認識されることを深く考えさせられる。

　他のレビューでも書いたが、フランクルの神経症概念は、森田神経症と酷似しており、本当に逆説的志向で治癒するものなのかという疑念さえわいてくる。その程度で治癒するなら、それ以前に軽快していたのではないかとも思える。
　さらに、豊かで何も問題がないと思われる人間が、実存的空虚感を抱き、人生に意味を感じない傾向があると記載しているが、我が国のうつ病者と自殺者の増加は確かに人生が無意味であるとの認識から発生しているだろうが、貧困でしかも問題がありすぎるとすれば、フランクルの心理学は、まだ日本には早すぎるのだろうか？
　ややフランクルの浅さを感じさせる本ではある。
