私が始めて思想というものに触れたのが芹沢俊介の「現代＜子ども＞暴力論」で書かれたイノセンス論だった。イノセンス論のテーマは成熟である。まずイノセンスとは生まれてくることに対する根源的な受動性を表している。人はみな生まれる体、性、親、名前など選べずに生まれる。著者の言い方をすれば「書き込まれる」のだ。

私が思うに根源的にあるのが子どもは親から切り離されたとき、つまり胎児が母親の子宮から切り離されたときものとてつもない暴力を受けるというイメージである。それを著者は受動的な子どもへの根源的な暴力として考えたのだと思う。

子どもは暴力を解体するために暴力やあらゆる悪を許された存在であると著者は考えた。そしてこの暴力を著者はイノセンスと定義した。イノセンスとは無垢や潔白や無実などの意味だそうだ。
そしてそのイノセンスをだれかに受け止められなくてはイノセンスは解体されるのだ。それを私が思うに人間の成熟ということなのではないだろうか。

この本でヒントをもらったなというところは身体的欲望に関して身体的欲望には三つの領域がある、一人でいたい、二人・対でいたい、みんなと群れていたいという共同性への欲望の三つである。

著者は「これらの三つの欲望の領域を自在に往還できるのなら、世界を閉じること原則として起こらない」。この言葉になにか私は大切なことがわかったような気がした。

芹沢俊介のよさはその謙虚さだと思う。芹沢は自分のことを口舌の輩と称しているそうだが（本文中には載ってないが）これはたいした発言だと思う。自分のポジションというかあるべき関係をはっきりと認識している。こういう論者にはなかなかありつけない。
