結婚が近かったのでたまたま目について購入。
ですが、読み終わった後すっかりたかはしみきさんのファンにになってしまいました。
絵が可愛くて、面白い！
具体的なエピソードがのっていて楽しかったです。
こんなこと、結婚雑誌には書いてないもんね…という細かいエピソード。
理想だけでは語れない、大きなお金が動く、正に「現実」
あまり興味が無い男性側、言い値の式場、思ったより大変な引き出物や引き菓子、
スピーチ依頼など細かい物事を決定して行く連続。
マリッジブルーになる人も多いでしょう…。
そのまま書かれているので結婚式に夢を持っている人はショックかも？
私は作者の「やっといた方がいいかな」「でも恥ずかしい」ぐらいの気持ちから
入っていく過程が同じだったので共感することも多かったです。
（食事会でいい？お色直ししようかな？ドレスも派手なのはちょっと…というスタート）
実際準備をしていると参考になることも色々ありました。

でもやっぱり、作者のコミカルな書き方の部分が好みだった、と言うのが大きいですね。
情報を求めるのには向かないかな、あくまでエッセイ、個人のエピソード中心です。

たかはしみきさんの結婚式の準備から結婚式当日までのルポコミック。
「結婚式には興味があるんだけど…。結婚式の準備とかどうするの？なにから始めるの？
かと言って、今、結婚が決まっているわけではないので、結婚式の本を買って読むほどでは…。」
という私にはピッタリの本でした。
クスリと笑えるエピソードや、こういう風に決めていくんだ、準備では、こういうことに注意するといいのかと目からウロコのこともいっぱいありました。
この本は「結婚式は大変だけど、それでもやる価値のある、良いものなのだな」と思わされました。

もともとコミックエッセイが好きで、結婚が決まったこともあり、結婚式までの流れを書いたコミックエッセイってないのかな〜と思い、Amazonで検索してこの本を見つけたので思い切って購入しました。
私は作者たかはしみきさんのことを知らなかったのですが、「こげぱん」の作者さんだそうで、絵がとても可愛く、マンガも上手です。絵のイメージは大田垣晴子さんに近いかも…
ストーリーも、作者の実体験なのでリアル、結婚式までの流れがよくわかりました。
惜しむらくは、手作りしたという招待状やウェディングボードの写真が載っているのですが、非常に小さい…参考にしたかったので、巻末にでも大きな写真とともに作り方も掲載して欲しかったです。
とはいえ、妊娠出産のコミックエッセイは山ほどあるのに結婚式関連のコミックエッセイって少ないですし、興味のある方は購入して損はないと思います。
