　草書体の筆順が知りたくて、本書を購入した。
　楷書、行書、草書の三体の筆順が出ており、非常に役立つ。また、旧字体も載っているのがありがたい。例えば、「龜」なんていう字はどのような筆順で書くのか見当もつかなかったが、本書をみて初めて知ることができた。

大きな活字ではない方の版ですが、字の大きさはこれで十分だと思いました。個人的にはこれより大きい必要なないです。内容は前半は、筆順兼硬筆のお手本。楷書、行書、草書がでています。旧字体も載っています。後半は毛筆の見本。楷書一種、行書、草書はそれぞれ二種づつ掲載されています。引きやすく、探している字をすぐ見つけることができます。ただ、各字のお手本数が少なく本格的に書道をなさる方や創作の参考にしたい方には不十分だと思います。実用書道の範囲でお手本が欲しい方、日常生活の中で使いたい方には手軽に使いやすい大きさで便利だと思います。

万年筆に興味を持つと、必然的に綺麗な文字を書きたくなる。
綺麗な字を書くためには、正しい書き順が必須…と気づき、
この著者の「大きな活字の 楷行草 筆順・字体字典」を購入しました。

しかしながら、
「大きな活字の 楷行草 筆順・字体字典」の方は
本自体が百科事典並みに大きく、重たく、扱いづらいため、
急遽こちらを購入しました。

知ってるつもりで長年書き続けていた文字が、
実は全く違う筆順だった・・・というのが沢山あり、驚くばかり。
正しい筆順で書くと、
バランスがとり辛くて書くのが苦手だった文字が、
きちんと書けるようになる。
筆順の大切さを非常に感じます。

ただ、欲をいうならば、
辞書や辞典に通常ついている「見出し」（あ・か・さ・た・な…とか）が有れば良かったのになぁ〜と思います。ちょっと探し辛い。

とはいえ、学生さんだけでなく、
美しい文字を書こうと思っている方に、オススメします。
