小学5年になった、自閉症児の次男は、絵カードで言葉を 覚えました。しかし、理解言語（聞いてわかることば）が 増えても、表出言語（話せることば）は、障害の特性として、なかなか増えませんでした。　そんな次男に5年前に 与えたのが、この本です。　始めは、ペラペラと本をめくることに没頭していた次男も、そのうちに文字を覚え、

少しずつ読める言葉が増えると、一生懸命、本を見ながら、知らない言葉や興味のある言葉を質問するようになりました。　ただ、健常児向けの本のため、自閉症の子だったら、1ページに幾つもの言葉を載せずに、整理して、 大きな絵と文字にしていくのに、と思いました。 この本をベースにして、障害児向けのことばつかいかた

絵じてんが作られれば、ありがたい、と期待している私です。

高機能広汎性発達障がいの一年生の男の子のために買いました。
最近、新しい言葉に出会ったときに質問してきます。説明するために、いろいろ言葉を探して伝えようとしますが、絵なら一目瞭然。
まだ使い方には慣れていないようですが大切な一冊です。

絵のタッチもキツイものはなくて、親しみやすい感じです。

幼稚園の頃はくもんから出ていることば絵辞典を使っていましたが、こちらの方が若干（年齢的に）上の子向けかなと思います。
サイズが大きいので、おうちでゆっくりと使うことが多いです。

意外と知らない言葉の使い方を、絵を見ながら確かめられるのが、
とっても便利です。娘といっしょに見てますが、日本語の表現の
豊かさに、驚きます。読んで意味はある程度わかっているつもり
でも、こういう風に、事例を絵で説明されることは滅多にないので、
大人でも楽しめます。
特に、擬音や、動作の表現は、字面の説明だけではわかりにくいので、

“あ、こういうことだったのか！”と驚くことも多いです。
「おもい病気」と「おもいかばん」となにげなく使い分けている
言葉も、絵にして比較してみると、不思議というか、おもしろいというか。
工夫次第で、いろいろ楽しめる本です。

幼稚園の時に購入｡以来、机の棚に置いて暇なときにしょっちゅうみています。親に聞くのもいいけれど、自分で調べると納得度も高いようです｡
