縦17.5cm・横10.5cm・厚さ約2.6cm
よくこれだけの大きさで、1332ページ、10万6千語以上も補えたと呆れてしまいます。
図書館で6千円~8千円クラスの辞書を使っていると、こちらの方が単語の数、載っていない表現(隠語・俗語)等が全然多いのです。
例えば"tpaxatb"(トラハチ）ピシピシと音をたてて叩くニュアンスの動詞ですが、あるんです！面白い隠語が...。
公衆の面前なので書く事は出来ませんが、見れば納得です。
ちなみに他の露‐和の辞書６冊とポーランド語辞書の同じ単語には載っていませんでした。
女性の前で"ヤ- ハチュウ トラハチ" などとうっかり云うと、殴られてしまうかも痴れません。(女性の方、話がそれてスイマセン...)
新しい単語も豊富で、"テルネット"　"インタ-ネット" "Beb ウェブ"
文字化けしてしまうのでうまく表記できませんが、コンピューター用語や新語は改訂が2003年と新しいので群を抜いて載っています。
しかし文字が細かく、6~7千円クラスの辞書に比べて用例も少なめ、紙質が非常に薄くマーカーが滲んでしまう等多少の問題点もあり、語尾変化の説明も最小限、
殆んどの不完全動詞の扱いが、対になる完全動詞と違う部分が TpaxaTb, ~HyTb のように 表記されているのみ、しかも解りにくいイタリック体表記の時もあるので、
慣れない初心者の方は白水社のパスポート(使いやすいが語彙数が少ない)辺りと併用が好ましいかと思います。
又、中級者以上の方でしっかりした辞書を持っていても、是非、新語彙やニュアンス表現の補助にこの辞書の購入をお勧めします。
因みに、辞書の最初に語尾変化表、後ろに文法の簡単な説明がなされています。

　この辞典はサイズは小さいくせに、ただのロシア語学習者にとっては、相当な数の単語が収まっている。そのため、持ち運びは便利だが、文字がかなり小さい。当然、10万6千語もあれば、ロシア語学習者が必要としているレベルの単語は網羅されているだろう。
　серодиагностика血清診断とか、минералокерамика鉱物性製陶材料なんていう、我々が一生のうち、一度使うかどうか(日本語でさえ)もわからないような単語がのっている。例文や挿絵はかなり少ないので初級者に単独での使用はおすすめできない。
　けれども、банан(普通の意味ではバナナ)テストの赤点(あともうひとつ面白い意味があるのだけど)とか、へぇ〜な単語がたくさんある、読んでいてとても面白い辞典である。ほんとに俗語とか専門用語が数多くのっている。
　以上を考慮したら星5つ。

　20数年振りに改訂された本書。今年中に使い切らなければいけないお金が
あるので購入しました。10万6千語収録ということもあって、日本人なら
絶対に使わないというような単語も収録されています。「ネット市民」を
意味する単語まで載っていたのには驚きました。ロシア語初心者の私として
は国際発音記号が表記されているとうれしかったのですが、「ロシア文字
により、通常の綴り字発音からみて例外的と思われる語には極力発音の指示
を行った」となっております。サイズが小さく持ち運びには非常に便利。
国際発音記号が載っていないので星4つですが、内容は五つ星です。
