4.0 out of 5 stars KT法のエッセンス, 2007/1/27
KT法の４つの技法（問題分析、決定分析、潜在的問題分析、状況把握）
の説明を中心に、その適応事例とKT法の組織としての生かし方を
学ぶことができます。

それぞれの技法については、内容と手順、そして観点が
端的にまとめられています。
また、説明の後にさまざまな状況への適用事例が豊富に
記載されているため、説明された内容が自然と頭に入ってきます。

KT法という１つのアプローチの説明を中心として、
問題への取り組みや決定（判断）、ビジョンの策定、管理者としての
あり方などの基本概念を理解することができると思います。

書籍の発刊が非常に古く、また訳書であることで
本当に参考になるのか？ということが心配でしたが、
KT法のエッセンス、組織・管理者のあり方がまとまった良書だと思います。

ただし、適用事例は良い面しか載ってないということは事実で、
本書の内容をしっかりと客観的に見ることが必要かと思います。

社長から「ＫＴ法の研修に行け」と言われた時は「どうせそんなもの」とバカにしていたが……。

実際に行った研修では名の知れた大企業の従業員が多いことに驚いた。大企業が大企業である由縁をかいまみた気がする。

そして、研修に行く前、研修の最中、行った後、折に触れて何度もこの本を読み返している。

自分の場合、仕事が煮詰まってしまう理由は、問題を明確に定義できていないことである場合が多い。つまり、合理的な判断をする以前の問題として問題を見失ってしまいがちなのだ。考えるための基本に帰るという意味でこの本の内容は非常に重要だ。

最近、一緒に研修に行った昔の上司と会ってこの本（研修）の話になった。彼は会社を立ち上げたが、煮詰まっているという。いったい何に煮詰まっているのか、何を、どうすれば良いのか。考え、判断するために、彼はこの本をもう一度読んでみると言った。

数年前に仕事の関係で、この本で取り上げられているテーマに関する
講習会(ケプナー・トリゴー)を受講しました。当時も好印象を
持っていたのですが、時期をおいて考え直してみると
「派手さはないけれど、きちんと取り組めば大きな成果が得られる」
スキルだと思います。

この本では、体系化された思考方法が有効なことが紹介されています。
「思考方法論」と呼んだほうが適切かもしれません。
次の4つの思考方法が紹介されています。

1. 状況把握
2. 問題分析(現代風に言えば、問題解決)
3. 決定分析(現代風に言えば、Decision making)
4. 潜在的脅威分析(リスク分析のこと)

この中で、3と4は一般的なアプローチと大差ないですが、
2や1は、この本から学ぶところが大きいでしょう。

これらのスキルは、例えば対人交渉や経済観念と同じようなものです。
能力が十分でなくても、やっていくことはできます。
でも能力が高いほど、物事がうまく進みやすくなります。
この本で挙げられている「思考方法」は、たいていの人は我流で学ぶものだと
考えるものです。でもそれだけではない。
本書のように、先達の知恵を学ぶ道があるわけです。

「さえない表紙に、一昔前の翻訳」なので、この値段も出して買おうとは
思わないかもしれません。でも一読すれば、大きな宝石が隠れていたことに気づくことでしょう。
