私がこの《あぶない化粧品》シリーズに出会ったのは短大生の時で今から１０年以上前のこと。
当時、かなり衝撃を受けました!目からウロコ状態というか・・・知らないというのは怖いことですね。
一通りこのシリーズの本を読み納得した上で髪・体・顔を洗うもの、台所や洗濯用の洗剤などなど・・・　
すべて純せっけんに切り替えてずいぶん経ちます。化粧品にほとんどお金をかけていないけれど　
現在３０代ですが　しみ・そばかすもトラブルもない肌ですし　髪も枝毛ひとつないし安上がりなうえに
毎日とても快適です!　自分の周りの高いブランド化粧品を使っている人のお肌がきれいかというと・・・?
という感じですし　とにかく正しいことを教えてくれたこの本には感謝しています。
読んで実践するかどうかはその人次第ですが一読してみる価値はあると思います。
華やかなCMやブランドイメージに左右されず本当によいものを選べる賢い消費者でありたいものだと　
学生時代にこれを読んで感じました。

1985年に第一版で出版されています。
コマーシャルでよく、植物性、無香料、自然化粧品とうたったものがありますが、それもどうやら一般的な化粧品と比べて、安全、というわけではないようです。
有名化粧品会社が、化粧品をずいぶんとあくどい手口で売りつける様子など、化粧品会社の実態が書いてあります。

そのほかにも、皮膚科の医師に聞いた、化粧品は本当にスキンケアになるのか？というQ＆Aが載っています。

　有名国内大手の化粧品メーカーの名前がずらり。過去の裁判暦や、化粧品成分の実態、詳しくリアルに書かれています。これを読んで、本当に化粧品に対する不信感が高まりました。宣伝広告などに騙されてはいけないな、っとつくづく思いました。
　これも、日本消費者連盟だからこそ書いて発行できるのでしょう。本当に読んで良かったと思います。

　私は敏感肌で、化粧品でよく肌に湿疹が出たりしました。この本を読んでから、化粧水、美容液、乳液、クリーム等々全てやめました。そしたら、２日もたたないうちに、お肌が生まれ変わったようです。本当にやめてよかったです。
　これは化粧品を使っている世界中の女性に読んで、考えて欲しい一冊です。
