かなりまともなワインの入門本です。

著者はあの有名な「島耕作」などを描いている漫画家です。でも、内容はまともなのです。
実は、「部長・島耕作」の中にも主人公がフランスでワインを買い付けるというストーリーがあるので、多少はワインのことを勉強しているな、とは思っていました。
しかし、この著者は学生時代、ホテルでバイトをしワインを学んだとのこと。また、それをきっかけに今までワインに親しんできたのでしょうから、かなりの年季でしょう。

ただ、あくまでワインをこれから知りたいという方が対象です。内容はあくまで素人向けです。

この本でワインに興味をもたれた方には次に、「もっとワインが好きになる」（花崎一夫監修・執筆）をおすすめします。
国別、品種別ごとのワインの特徴をうまく整理してあります。

題名にもある通り、本当にゼロから学べるようになっています。
島耕作のイラストも多く漫画のようにあっという間に読んでしまいます。

すでにある程度ワインについての知識がある方にはお勧めできませんが、興味はあるがワインリストを渡されてもチンプンカンプン・・・という人にはとても勉強になると思います。

レストランでワインリストを渡されて、少しでもわかるようになったら、ワインのラベルの意味が分かったら・・・素敵だと思いませんか？

ワインに興味を持ち初めて、ちょっと詳しく知りたいな、
という人におすすめの本です。
今さら聞けない・・・なんていう初歩的な事から丁寧に教えてくれます。
難しい本だと途中であきてしまうし。
ワイン本に没頭するより、実際飲んだほうが楽しいですしね。
