突然スランプに陥ってしまった晴人は、大きなピアノコンクールを棄権してしまいます。
数日後、晴人を『ユキちゃん』と呼ぶ少年・睦月が現れ、それ以後つきまとわれ懐かれてしまいます。
子犬のような睦月に懐かれ、スランプに陥っていた晴人の心は癒され、ピアノと向き合えるようになっていきます。

睦月も、晴人とともに心の傷を乗り越え、晴人を晴人として愛するようになります。
このあたりの睦月の言葉は、ホントにいじらしくて抱きしめてあげたくなるくらい。
睦月と一緒に涙を流せば、きっとすがすがしい気持ちになれるでしょう。

4.0 out of 5 stars 可愛い受クンのテーマ音楽？がマッチしすぎてて、微笑ましい一冊。, 2009/10/25

ピアノ題材で、沢山の曲名が出てきて音楽好きにはそういう意味でも楽しかったお話。
睦月のテーマを「子犬のワルツ」とした件があるのですが、すぐにその情景を浮かんできて、音楽名と人を結びつけるのも情景を伝えるのには適しているなあ、とＢＬだのお話だのの前に、技法？に納得、感心してしまいました。
ま、曲名言われてそれがわからなければどうしようもないんですが……。

恋人（というよりも頼っていた人、かな）が死んだという事実を知っていながら、対峙することができずに、晴人を恋人とわざと間違えて接していく睦月。
そんな睦月の戯言を、戯言だと理解しつつもまともに受けとめる晴人。
疑似世界での二人の出来事に、晴人はやがて終止符を打たねばならないと決心する。
睦月を好きになった晴人にとっては、優貴のかわりとして睦月に優しくすることに耐えられない。好きだから本当の自分、ピアノを弾いている自分を見て欲しいと思う。

当初は睦月→晴人だったものが、同等になり、そして最後は晴人が睦月を導いていく形で終わっています。
多少現実感が薄い感はありますが、悪くないお話でした。

「子犬のワルツ」という短編が最後に収録されています。
睦月視点で、本編の一年後設定。
わがまま雰囲気は変わらない睦月ですが、成長したなぁと感じる場面がチラホラあり、べたべたに甘い子供雰囲気の本編と、少し大人っぽく？なったかな…というふつうの甘さの睦月、両方楽しめるように？なってます。

雪代さんのお話はやはり「可愛くてかなり年下受」ってのが多いし、またいいですね。今回の晴人も大学生設定だったけど読んでてまるっきり大人っぽかったし。

始めの方は睦月(受)が凄く我が侭でウザいなと思ってしまったんですが、その理由が段々とわかってきて悲しくなりました。
晴人(攻)もピアノと睦月のことで色々と悩んだりして中々前に進まないのですが、二人が「本当に求めるものを得る」ために動き出してからは悲しくてでも幸せな気持ちになります。イラストも樹要さんですからとても綺麗で気持よく読めると思います。
