江川さんて、Ｍの心理をよく理解できる人かと思ってたんですが、
がっかりしました。全く咀嚼されてません。ただ忠実になぞってるだけ。
絵にも迫力、生々しさが感じられませんでした。
とにかく背景が全くなく、グラデーションのトーン貼りまくり。手抜きじゃないでしょうか。
これじゃ興奮できません。
それにひきかえ、石森版のわいせつなこと！
石森版もかなり不満がありましたが、江川版は最低です。
これは漫画じゃないです。
もっとファンタジーを生々しく緻密に描ける人・・。
例えば、ベルセルクの三浦氏やアダルトの三条氏のような。
そういう絵のほうがヤプーの本質を伝えられそうな気がしました。

　文章を映像化する場合、そこに原作者の意図とは違ったモノを作画者は詰め込んでしまうことが多々ある。
　だが、江川達也はそれを拒否した。作画者は絵柄だけで物語は原作をそのまま忠実に再現するといった、己の主張を徹底的に拒絶するという試みを行ったのである。
　その良い例が「源氏物語」であり、本書「家畜人ヤプー」である。

　江川達也は、情報量が膨大な本書を漫画化する際に、自分の意思を捨て、ただ原作に忠実に物語を書き進めることにしたのである。

　原作に忠実に漫画にすることは難しいが、本書は成功している。しかもあの「家畜人ヤプー」である。
　これは、江川達也最大の挑戦かもしれない。

江川達也は、いままでいくつか読んできて、なんて不快なんだろうか、と敬遠していたが、本書で江川が果たした仕事は文句なしにすばらしい。
沼昭三の示した、変態ワールドと江川達也の絵がここまでマッチするとは正直、想像だにしていなかった。二人の組み合わせを考えた人に拍手を送りたい。
