血が欲しくなるとゆう奇病を患った姉弟を中心にストーリーが展開していきます。
この作品の良い所は、姉弟の心の動き・感情の機微の描写がうまく、ストーリに引き込まれてしまいます。
重いテーマを扱ったものですが、作者の書く絵・世界観は独特の物があります。
１度読んでみてください、はまるかもしれませんよ。

他人の血が欲しくなる遺伝性の血液病という重たいテーマを独特の世界観で描いている作品です。ストーリー、登場人物とも魅力的で、この巻を読めばきっと羊のうたの世界から抜け出せなくなることでしょう。

実写映画化もされたこの作品。初めラジオドラマでこの作品を知って、なんともいえない暗い感じが気に入りコミックを買いました。主人公一砂は生き別れになっていた姉千砂と再会し自分が血を求める一族に生まれたことを知るという西洋的な設定なのにかかわらず純和風な作品に仕上がっています。姉千砂の弟一砂に対する思いやりもこの作品の見所です。
