夜逃げした女の子が行き着いた先は佐々良町。それまで両親から愛情を感じることが出来なかった少女が、佐々良の人々に出会い成長し温かさに触れる物語です。そして、物語の中に出て来る言葉は、キューンと突き刺さるものがあります。
　「てるてるあしたきょうはないてもあしたはわらう」
ずっと心の何処かに覚えておきたい言葉となりました。

以前から購入を検討していたのですが、文庫が出るまで待とうとしていて二日前にようやく購入しました。


親の夜逃げのために一人で今まで聞いたこともなかった「佐々良」という田舎町にやってきた主人公の照代。初めの彼女は本当にひねくれていて、わがままなどしようもありませんでした。しかし、久代さんやさやさんや佐々良の町に住む周りの人たちに接していくうちに少しずつですが人間的に成長していきます。


読後はどこか穏やかというか心が浄化される感じがしました。個人的には照代の元に時々届く差出人不明のメールが凄く印象的でした。文自体は非常に簡素なものなのですがどこか心にしみてきます。
　　
「てるてるあした　きょうはないても　あしたはわらう」

わずか２２文字ですが何か深さを感じます。さすがですね。


加納さんの作品はこの「てるてるあした」とその姉妹作「ささらさや」しかまだ読んだことがないのですが、すっかり加納さんの文章に魅力されました。今度は少し古い作品ですが「いちばん初めにあった海」を読んでみようと思います。
ちなみにこの二作をアレンジしたドラマ『てるてるあした』も素晴らしかったです。


補足：別に本作「てるてるあした」だけでもすばらしい作品だとは思いますが、より作品を味わうためには「ささらさや」を先に読むことをお勧めします。

親の夜逃げのため、ひとり「佐々良」を訪れた中学生の照代。
口うるさい久代おばあさんと暮らすことになった照代は、高校進学も諦め、両親とも離れた寂しさから
なかなか素直に心を開けないでいた。
そんなある日、彼女の携帯に差出人不明のメールが届きはじめる。
「てるてる　あした。きょうはないても　あしたはわらう。」
見知らぬ土地でさまざまな人との出会いや別れを通して少しずつ変わっていく照代。
ちょっと不思議な町「佐々良」で、成長していく少女のファンタジー小説。

最後の方はほぼ泣きっぱなしでした。
久代さんの不器用なやさしさに、サヤさんのあたたかな思いやりに、
読んでいるこちらの気持ちもほぐれて、暖かくなりました。
たった１５歳で親の夜逃げのせいで何もかも失った照代を、同情もせず、
今後しっかり生きていけるようにしようという久代さんの心意気がすごい！！
それにこたえる照代もすごいが・・・。
自分の１５歳のころを思って赤面する思いです。
この物語は、幼児虐待という重いテーマが背景にあるのですが、希望を捨てさせない
思いやりにあふれたお話だと思います。

じんわりと心が温かくなるお話です。
加納朋子さんの本を初めて読みましたが、姉妹本の「ささら　さや」も読んでみたい！！
